Opinión Musical: La Emergencia de Florecer Entre Canciones Y Piraguas (Superaquello)

December 13, 2010 Leave a comment

NEWS – New Look for Logos Y Titulos and future updates

October 27, 2010 Leave a comment

Well it was one of those things that I had coming for a while, I just never seemed to find a theme that felt right.  This one was perfect.  It maintained the current vibe but it looks crisper, tighter and…well it just looks better all around.  We’ve also included the “Share This” feature so you can share these entries in multiple social locations.

I’ll admit that I haven’t been posting as I would have wanted but time is at a premium lately and my most recent project (Why The Hell Did You Click That?) is taking most of it.  If you are a computer user that desperately seeks simple answers, this might be the place for you.  Grab the RSS Feed, have the posts sent to your email or join us on Facebook…it’s all good.  I’ve also included an RSS widget here to your right, where you can see the last five stories on Why The Hell… so you can have an idea of what I’m talking about over there.

What’s next? Well, unfortunately not a hell of a lot.  I’ll be posting in the next couple of weeks two more entries for the TILT Music Blog on my favorites albums of 2009 and 2010.  I also have a short story in English that circles around a letter written by a man wanting to quit the universe.  Yes, I know how it sounds, but I think it’ll be funny.  Finally I’ve been getting a lot of hits on the two Saddo The Clown cartoons I did, so I might make one or two more just for laughs (or tears?)

Thanks for reading.

TILT Music Blog – My Favorite Albums in 2008

October 27, 2010 Leave a comment

Over the past few years I’ve been part of a music message board (Pulso Rock) where at the end of every year we post our individual favorite albums that we’ve listened to that particular year but released that same year.  It has slowly become a nice little tradition that we still continue.  So I decided to start documenting on my own blog my choices and perhaps give a little bit more information on my choices.   I will start with previous years and later on I’ll include my 2010 picks (considering I’m still adding to the list).  There will be albums in English and in Spanish and sometimes maybe even on another language. So I hope you enjoy my lists and share with me on the comments what have been your favorite albums of such years.  If you click on the artwork of each album you’ll be taken to the group’s MySpace page so you can listen to some of their music, if my two liners and the art entice you.  If you click on the artist’s name, for the ones that have a hyperlink, you can go to a previous review I’ve done about that particular group in my blog. My New Project – Why The Hell Did You Click That?

So no, I haven’t disappeared from the planet.  I still write, and actually I have a nice set of short stories I’ll be uploading here some time soon, but in the meantime I’ve been focusing my writing on technology.  I started doing that in this blog, so now I plan to promote the entries as well.

The blog is not for technical people.  It’s directed to non savvy every day users that feel that when they need answers they find complex ones that do not address people like them but technical people.  I offer simple solutions to every day questions and actually have a form to receive questions from readers and I’ll write about what you want to hear.  No technical jargon if you don’t want to read it, and if you do, I’ll redirect you to where you can find it.

So give me a visit, and if you like it, follow it by email or rss and recommend to a friend.  The name of the blog?

Blog News – Noticias Del Blog

December 28, 2008 Leave a comment

During the past few weeks the blog has not been actualized very often. The main reasons have included the work on what will be the new address for the blog http://www.logosytitulos.com which I expect to be ready by very early January 2009. The other big reason is the work on what will be the third album for Micro-Escopio that will also be released in early 2009.  Soon I’ll be uploading some short stories and some reviews I’ve been working on in the past few days.  Stay tuned for more news and thanks for reading.

Reseñas – Tributo A La Mancha Del Jardín – V/A (2008)

December 10, 2008 Leave a comment

Read more…

Graphic Novel Review – The Runaways

At first I was not too attracted toward this story. It had too much of a manga feel to it, and I don’t care for that particular style. The only thing that kept my interest was the writer, whom I have reviewed a few times. Bryan K. Vaughan, together with Adrian Alphona, got this story of Runaways going for Marvel Comics. Read more…

TILT Music Blog – Tony Christie (Made In Scheffield – 2008)

November 11, 2008 3 comments

A casualty of destiny got the music of this artist right on my lap.  One of those invites that one tends to ignore on the myspace social network, only this time I just went ahead and listened to Tony Christie’s music.  I must say it’s been a while since I’ve heard something like this without looking for it. Listados Musicales – 15 Mejores Discos Lanzados En El 2006 (Argentina)

November 3, 2008 Leave a comment

Read more…

Ficción Literaria – Espejismos Inciertos

October 31, 2008 1 comment
